 Rubrics for Project:

 

 Planning your project:

  1.  Decide what topic you want to work on and what kind of presentation you would like to produce

  2. If you are working on a legend or skit, think about the kind of characters and scenes you will need.  If you are working on a historical site or event, think about how you will arrange for transportation if needed, or how you will record the scenes.

  3. Think about the materials you will need like clothing, props, printer ink, markers, paper, etc.

  4.  Decide on what sound effects and music you will include for the introduction, or background.

  5. Discuss your plan with your teacher.  Your plan needs to be approved.

  6. Present your project

 

What is an excellent project?

Process:

1.  Topic was discussed with the teacher and approved.

2.  A reliable resource was chosen, discussed with the teacher and approved.

3.  A plan of action was created, discussed with the teacher and approved.

        The plan of action included all materials to be used, presentation format, background images, character creation,  historically     

        correct information, dress style and props to be used, sound effects, type of movie maker, etc.

4.  Evidence of research.

5.  Ensure the visuals are your own, give proof or get prior approval if your project requires an online image. 

6.  Produce your project in a timely manner.

Product:

1.  The project was turned in on time

2.  The video is colorful, transitions are  good, sound effects, and costuming are well thought out. 

3.  The video shows evidence of appropriate research.

4.  Script  has no grammatical errors or inappropriate language or slang.

5.  The video has appropriate credits including those of characters, music and resources.

6.  The video is uniquely yours, you did not copy images, drawings, clips, or any one's  script.

7.  Any music used follows the copyright laws and is less than 10% of the original sound track.
