Design an Outrigger Stamp for Guam

 

•  The outrigger drawing must be based on correct information regarding construction and style.

• The stamp must have a word and an object (picture, sketch) that clearly identifies Guam as the island and what type of canoe it is.

• The stamp should be in color.

• You may Include perforated edges to make the stamp look realistic.

• You must identify what type of canoe it is and name at least 5 parts of the canoe.

 

Alternative Assignment

• Sketch your own canoe..

• Label the parts of the canoe.

• Tell what each part is used for in the canoe design.

• Tell what local materials were used to make each part.

• Color the canoe and background. 

 

 

 

AND

Design a thinking map:  Compare and contrast a double hulled canoe with a Chamorro outrigger canoe (sakman).
